Casting Call: “The Last Band on Earth” Short Film — Lead Actor Needed

A casting call for a male lead actor in Albuquerque is now open for The Last Band on Earth — a student narrative short film written and directed by Harrison Maxwell Blushing, filming this weekend April 26th and 27th, 2026. Story Quest Studios is proud to share this opportunity — but note the extremely tight turnaround. Contact the director today.

About the Film

The Last Band on Earth follows a group of college students who are given a month until the world ends. With this knowledge, they decide to create a rock band and make the most of their final moments together. It’s a story about urgency, creativity, and human connection — the kind of deeply felt, character-driven material our Albuquerque acting classes are built to develop.
