This screenplay, directed by Brandon Tyler, is inspired by Take Me For a Ride: Coming of Age in a Destructive Cult by Mark Laxer—a gripping true story.

Logline:
A wide-eyed teenager seeks spiritual growth under the guidance of his housemate, a charismatic young professor with a taste for power.

We’re looking for actors of all backgrounds to bring these compelling characters to life during the read. It’s a wonderful chance to connect, collaborate, and be part of this story’s creative journey.
