A casting call for male actors in Albuquerque is now open for BET — a short film directed by Basie Neil and produced by Lotus Pictures, filming the last week of April into May 2026. Story Quest Studios is proud to share this opportunity with actors across New Mexico.
About the Film
BET is the story of someone heading to the World Series of Poker after saving a degenerate gambler and a rich kid. A high-energy ride through drinking, yelling, making money, losing money — and betting it all. Directed by Basie Neil for Lotus Pictures, this is a character-driven drama with three meaty lead roles available. If you’ve been building your instincts and scene work in our Albuquerque acting classes, this is the kind of project that puts those skills to work.
Roles Available
Mark — Male, mid-20s, around 5’8″.
Dean — Male, 18–20, any height.
Ben — Male, 20s, around 6′, slim build.
Background Actors — 3 needed, any look. No costume required — actors provide their own clothing.
