Intro to Checkhov: Exploring the Mind/Body Connection in Acting

Intro to Checkhov: Exploring the Mind/Body Connection in Acting

6 Weeks: $250 plus Tax, Date TBD

RSVP: Email storyqueststudios@gmail.com

If you are passionate about expanding your acting craft, you will love the powerful techniques of Checkhov. Not the writer, but his cousin, who was the most renowned student of the famous Russian teacher of acting, Stanislavski, who originally spearheaded the realistic approach to acting. Quinn Mander, who attained a masters degree at Rutgers University, trained under professors who lived and breathed the lineage of this powerful craft. We are honored and excited that our students now have the chance to learn these classical techniques and delve deeply into the mind/body connection. A few things you will learn:

  1. The concept of the Life-Body to bridge the mind/body connection
  2. Exploration of textures and psychological gestures to access deeper truths in your scene
  3. A new freedom in your movement and a new connection to the tech through your body
  4. A new kind of awareness in the moment that allows you a new mode of transformation

Don’t miss your chance to create a new light in your acting technique. Reach out if you have any questions or want to attend a free preview class with Quinn. StoryQuestStudios@gmail.com
