Heat of the Moment Casting Call: About the Project
The Heat of the Moment is a non-union, unpaid short film created for a UNM Video Production class. Filming is scheduled for the weekend of November 22nd in Albuquerque, NM. All cast members will gain valuable on-set experience working alongside a dedicated student production team. If you have been building your performance skills in our Albuquerque acting classes, this is a great next step to put those skills into practice on a real set.
Roles Available

Jude (Non-binary or trans masc preferred, 22–30) — a lead role actively seeking non-binary or trans masculine performers, though all submissions within the age range are welcome.
Any and all actors who fit the age range are encouraged to submit regardless of experience level.
How to Audition
In-person auditions are being held this Saturday, November 15th at 12:00 PM. For more details or to submit online, reach out to the production team directly at that address.
Story Quest Studios regularly shares casting calls from the Albuquerque student film community because we believe every audition is a chance to grow. Whether you book the role or not, showing up and putting yourself on tape builds the habits that working actors rely on every single day.
This is the kind of real-world opportunity that helps Albuquerque actors build their resume, gain set experience, and connect with the growing UNM film community.
