Two estranged brothers meet in a rural Vermont farmhouse to hash out differences with the aid of poetry and pot.

CHARACTERS:

JONATHAN — 60’s or early 70’s — urbane New Yorker

NATHALIE — Jonathan’s wife, same age, some ethnicity (Italian, Jewish, Puerto Rican, etc.)

TIMOTHY — Jonathan’s brother, dropped out to be hippy farmer 30 years ago

GRACE – Timothy’s wife, native Vermonter

AMY – bright, charming 11 years old
