Mephitis Prodigium is a reality TV style scripted comedy show with a monster-of-the-week format, produced by Crescent Fresh Film. Episode S01E01 follows a pair of amateur monster hunters on the trail of this week’s creature — the dreaded Mephitis Prodigium, a giant skunk. Directed and produced by Austin Weahkee alongside producer Tristin Rosetta, filming takes place in late December over two days. This is a fantastic opportunity for Albuquerque actors who enjoy character-driven comedy and want to add something genuinely unique to their reel. Jabiah is a city hall custodian who spends weekends as an amateur dog napper — a hobby that unexpectedly led to an even more amateur career as a conspiracy theorist. Jabiah provides the hosts with information that leads to the discovery of this week’s monster. Various additional roles are also open, so all interested actors are encouraged to reach out regardless of which role appeals to them. Sides will be provided upon submission.
