MIRROR, MIRROR

A female college student must overcome her insecurities while battling societal expectations brought on by social media.
- A five-minute student film following the personal struggles of a college student affected by images on social media.
- Shooting dates will include some weekends through December 8th (excluding Thanksgiving weekend), and some weekdays/evenings. Specific film schedule will be developed once fully cast.
- Creative team: Jacky Gallegos Alcala, Kathryn Doocy, Matthew Fontaine, Manny Lopez, and Angel Segura.
SOPHIE [early 20’s, female] Straight-A student struggling with mental health and body dysmorphia due to social media.
*Character experiences an eating disorder.
LENA [early 20’s, any gender] Sophie’s friend, blunt, direct, but supportive.
JESS [early 20’s, any gender] Sophie’s friend, warm, reserved, and introverted.
BOYFRIEND [early 20’s, male] Guy-next-door, oblivious.
GUY [mid 20’s, male] Nerdy, wears glasses, really shy.
