‘TO SEE THE STARS’ Casting Call

Hello! My name is Jack Barkhurst and I am a freshman directing my first narrative film called “To See The Stars.” The story takes place in the near future where light pollution has blocked all of the stars from view. A teen boy named Cosmo has grown up without ever seeing the stars and he wants to change that. While at a sleepover at his friend Asher’s house, he plots to see the stars for the first time. Asher’s sister Lily guides them to the foothills where she once saw a star and the three of them venture out on their bikes to see the stars.
This is a nonpaid and student produced project for a Film Production I course filming in Albuquerque over the next few weeks.
We are currently looking for a teen boy, aged 17-19 and a college-aged girl, aged 18-22, to play our main roles. You must be able to ride a bike if you’re cast for a main role.
We are looking for minor roles as well, a set of parents, aged 30-50, which have very minimal lines.
