About the Film
When a socially anxious young woman attends a house party to get out of her shell, her perception begins to fracture. Skotos is a psychological thriller short film that explores anxiety, social pressure, and the terrifying line between what is real and what is felt. If you are an actor looking to sink your teeth into complex, character-driven material, this is the kind of work our Albuquerque acting classes prepare you for.

Cecille — Early 20s, female, any ethnicity. An introverted young woman whose social anxiety manifests like a living threat.
Jake — Early 20s, male, Caucasian. Cecille’s boyfriend. Outgoing, charismatic, and well-meaning, but sometimes dismissive.
Dawn — Early 20s–30s, female, Caucasian. Friendly on the surface but complicated underneath — perceptive enough to notice Cecille’s discomfort.
+ Background Actors for a party scene are also needed.
