Acting 101: Mastering Your Audition

Welcome to the evolution of training for the actor. This program is designed to take the actor, at any level, to understanding storytelling enough to transform their preparation and execution of their audition, forever. Once you train with the Discovery Technique, curated at the studio by founder Ron Weisberg, you will see each role in a completely new light, and will be an audition ninja. What you will learn:

1. A new approach to acting inspired by a fusion of improvisation and screenwriting will allow you to craft the most profound story to be in the moment with. 
2. New Improv Scene Studies to open the actor up to the power of each scene.
3. New ways of breaking down a script to create depth and impact in your auditions.
4. How to create powerful self tapes and be known as a reliable actor
5. How Discovery itself is the key to engaging the imagination of casting, producers, and directors.
6. What it’s like to prepare an audition and present it to a real industry guest, allowing you to expand under pressure, like a diamond in the rough! 

An extra session will be added for those that successfully go through the training and complete a self tape. This final session will act as a “chemistry read, call back” and you will get an amazing opportunity to showcase your scene in front of special industry guests. In the past we have had casting directors, film makers, producers, screenwriters, and it is always a good way to network and let great working folks know that you are passionate about your craft and being a storyteller. This class can be taken on zoom, as we record each class so you can see how you evolve, and You can always opt out of any recording!
