Prerequisite is our Voiceover Basics class to understand vocal technique and how to take vocal direction.

There are few things more fun in life than creating character voices, but here’s the thing, there is a method to this madness! Learn all the vocal qualities and how to take direction for creating a character, its not like commercials. In this 6 week program you will join other students in tackling scene work and take home assignments to record at home. This class will lead you to your Character Demo Reel! Liz Reeder Neubauer, a 40 year veteran of the business, trained in New York (La Mama, Neighborhood Playhouse, Actors
Institute) and Los Angeles (Beverly Hills Playhouse, Actors Studio). As a director, producer and writer, her work has been seen
on (among other places) NBC, ABC, PBS, Comedy Central, and screened at festivals including SXSW, Tribeca and Cannes. Liz
runs Studio E, one of Austin’s most recommended performing arts studios for over 14 years.
